Feb 2011 - Our "Cups" have been refilled

We just wanted to share some sites of our 2011 trip to Thailand.  We left for Thailand on January 29th in which we spent 6 days with pure R&R on the south east side of the country. We then headed north to Chiang Mei in which we spent 8 days at the ELIC annual conference.  We rested and rejuvenated our mind, body, and spirit which did amazing things to kick start our 2011 spring semester.  We felt very fortunate to have this time as a family.  We hope you enjoy the pictures.

  1. You all look right at home on the beach and in the jungle on your elephants. Trey, what was the name of your elephant friend? LOVE THESE PICS! Thanks for sharing them. We love and miss you all.

  2. Good to see those smiling faces, and I wish I was fishing with your son there. I bet we would have caught something! Love the pictures on the elephants. You truly are in a different world. Living vicariously through your adventures, enjoy and take care.

  3. Pam, the funny thing is that Trey kept telling the guys he did not want to sit on the baby elephant. They obviously did not listen. When he least expected it, one of the guys came up behind him and plopped him right on top. Hence, his facial expression in the pic. Also, wanted to tell you my friend has pictures of the hat distribution. Once she sends them to me, I will forward on to you. They were definitely a hit!

Rich, I'm sure you would have caught a 20 pounder if you would have been there (ha ha). Travis and Trey both caught little ones and were thrilled. It was all about the experience...
