We had a guest appearance from a BBC reporter late last month who was on-site in our apartment talking about baking bread. As the Son fed 5,000 at one time, Sharolyn fed 8 girls who came over to bake both banana and beer bread. Both are fairly simple to make (remember, a man is saying this) and the girls baked two loaves, played Jenga, danced on the floor with Trey, had a full on pillow fight with Trey, and truly enjoyed their time in the apartment. Although I don't have a picture, I spun on the floor as well. I do have a picture of Sharolyn spinning on the floor with the girls, but she threatened to divorce me if I posted it.
Below is the BBC reporter and the activities with the girls.
We have made the commitment to spend the next two years in China teaching English as a second language to University students in Nanjing China. Please follow along to keep track of our adventures and more importantly, our mishaps.

Easter 2011
Easter 2011 was one we will never forget. We visited the Father's House in China which was a great experience. We had two of my students and a 3 of Sharolyn's girls meet us there as well.
We then shared a lunch and discussed the sermon.
Afterwards we painted Easter Eggs with Dai Bo and Poppy as well as hid them so Trey could have somewhat of a normal Easter.
I love that kid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are You Ready For Some Football????
Again, I have been seriously lacking in our updates to the blog. I'll do my best to post the last two months worth of activities within the next couple days.
First, I taught my double major business and economic students how to play American Football. Although we were supposed to only play touch, some took it a little more serious. LOL. Both the boys and the girls did an amazing job for the first time ever playing the sport. I personally took it easy on them and only tackled at 50% strength. :0)
